This is an apple which I crushed with a hammer. The other side was ruined, but somehow, this half remained intact and quite photogenic. The reflection of the light off the apple's skin and the contrast between the apple and the grass makes this my favorite image.

This is my rubber bear; It's one of the special toys I had when I was a kid. The yellow on it I feel is somewhat out of place on it, and when I was really young, I'd like to think that it was because the ears were special in that they could listen to what was happening around them.

When I was walking around downtown, I came across a bunch of shoes suspended from a house on a wire. I've never seen something so typical, yet atypical, making it intuitive for me to photograph them.

These are two pottery pieces I made in the eight grade. In choosing what to make in color, I ended up choosing the bird in order to highlight the different spirit the bird container has from the utilitarian cork-closed container.

This is the huron river during sunset. I really like how this photo centers the sun at one point. However, I think the image would look better if it was only reflected over the y axis, rather than over the x axis.
